Mecha, LLC (“Mecha,” “we”) builds tools for people who care about their data. We collect as little personal information as possible, and we never sell it.

Payment information

We do not process or store your payment details. Purchases are handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, under Paddle’s Privacy Policy. Paddle collects the billing and payment data needed to complete your order and remit taxes.

License information

When you purchase a product, your email address and name are embedded in your license token so the application can activate offline and so we can provide support. We use your email to deliver your license and respond to support requests. We do not sell or rent this information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Anonymous usage statistics

Our applications can report anonymous, aggregated usage counters (for example: how many corruptions were detected, or how many bytes were protected). These help us understand real-world impact and improve the products.

  • What is collected: aggregate counters only.
  • What is never collected: file names, file paths, file contents, machine fingerprints, email addresses, and IP addresses (stripped at intake). No personal data is included.
  • Your control: usage statistics can be turned off at any time in the application’s preferences. In the EU/EEA and UK, reporting is off by default and requires your explicit opt-in.

Website

This website is static and does not set advertising or tracking cookies. The checkout overlay may set cookies that Paddle requires to process your order.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold (your license email and name) by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable period. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA; we honor those rights.

Children

Our products are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
